I have two, fun guns to shoot. The kids love the laser. The threads on the barrel are for the barrel retaining nut, not accessories. Remove them and the gun becomes a paper weight.

Pretty much what Big Dave said . I like to pester my wifes cat with the laser, with and without a round in the chamber. The interchangeble backstrap makes the gun fit most hands. I understand there are silencers that can be attached via the threads, but you might want to discuss that with someone else. I am selling it because it has sat on the shelf for well over a year.
