Don't miss out on our ATA registered Buckle Shoot this Saturday. We are going to shoot 100 singles and 100 handicap. Plus, we are offering a $200.00 guaranteed Jackpot for 100 straight in singles for a $10 buy-in.
We will be awarding special North Hollywood Sportsman's Club buckles to the champions in AA; A; B; C & D Singles and yardages 19-22; 24-24; 25-26 & 27 in Handicap plus the HC champion. We also have special Hunter Trophies courtesy of Bill and Ruthie Hunter.
We have a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and we particularly encourage new shooters to come out. So, if you would like to start shooting ATA registered targets or haven't shot them in a while, please join us. Just ask at the window to be pointed to JT and I'll see that you are made welcome.
Targets and trophies are $28 per hundred which includes a delicious barbecued lunch. Call Gary at 805-732-4880 or [email protected] to pre-squad. We will be shooting 100 per field with registration at 8:30 and the first four squads out at 9 a.m. The second four squads should start about 9:40-45 and the third flight about 10:30. We usually finish about 1:15.
Just got back; had a great time. "If you can't have a great time at North Hollywood's Club shooting, along with a wonderful bbq lunch, you just can't have fun anywhere." (Heck, you would probably not even like Magic Mtn. down the road...)
Thanks gentlemen and ladies for all your hard work for our recreational pleasure and regards,
Thanks for coming. We had 37 shooters for both singles and HC. If the weather forecasts would have been right we would have had a bunch more plus all of our local State Directors were at the December Board Meeting. We had little heavy mist just at the start and then it warmed right into the mid 50s with just a little breeze.
Congrats to the 5 99s in singles but the money went to Terry Bilbey, owner of Redlands, with the lone 100 that was worth about $250.00! He then backed that up with a 96 for HC Champ. In between, he volunteered a turn in the houses loading traps. Not often do you find a trap boy that is the CA State HOA & HAA Champ. LOL.
The BBQed chicken was great and we appreciated all the thank yous. If any of you cold weather guys would like to join us for a little light winter shooting, come on out. We would love to have some company.
