Is anyone using Nitro 100 in 1 oz loads?

If so what are ya loading fps wise?

Singles, caps, both?

I shoot at the 24 yd line.

Looking for decent speed (1200-1250) and low pressure (under 9000psi) for 1oz load.

Maybe im goin in the wrong direction. Using greendot now and having to load them up where its a bit punchy. My wife is possibly going to start shooting, and kind of would like the best of both worlds.

Is this a pipe dream? I have AA, sts, and fed gm hulls with proper wads for each.

IMO, with the right wads, Green Dot is the best powder for what you want.

Fiocchi primer, and 12sl for the AA's and STS's and 12so's for the feds. Both CB clones.

Look on the Hodgdon's web site. There is a lot of 1oz loads just like your looking for,unless you just want Aliant powder. Worth a look.. Ray

I shoot 17. Gr of nitro 100 out of a AA/STS hull with a windjammer
wad, Rio primer and a heavy 1 oz of shot.
