Well my 1951 Remington 870 TC was delivered to my FFL dealer today.

Filled out all the the paper work and was lookin at the gun, put it together, drooled a little and wrapped it back up in bubble wrap to take home in the box they sent it in.

The NICS check came back "DELAY".

At least I got to look at it today and hold it for a minute or two. The action is sweet, the gun looks good. just a few scratches on the bluing from loading shells into the magazine.

I can't wait to shoot it!!

If you are in Virginia it may have been due to a major crash of the "super" computer that supports a lot of the processes. DMV was off line and most people at the Gun Show in Doswell on the weekend ended up delayed. They had folks working all weekend to fix it and DMV went to extended hours to help with the backup.
