The Newport Sportsmen Club will have its five week, 50 bird, handicap calcutta starting this Tuesday, September 28 through October 26. Board sells at 7PM. We will also have a trap set for doubles. Traps open at 6PM. Kitchen will be open, fresh popcorn, friendship and fellowship permitted. Hope to see some of you folks.

Nice shoot tonight. six squads. We will wait for it to get dark to start shooting again next tuesday. Many of the shooters left early tonight. so, I guess they plan on coming back next week to get their $$. Hope you can come again and bring a friend. Thanks.

Had six full squads last night. 48, 47, 46 & 45 paid in the calcutta. Total payout around $850. Hope to see more shooters next week.

Just wanted to remind everyone this Tuesday evening will be our 5th week of our Tuesday night calcutta. Every week this shoot has gotten better. Last week we had 8+ squads. 49 was high, had 3 48's. Total payout was over $1600. Had 39 shooters in the calcutta for a total of $1335. That is an average of $35 per shooter. Board sells around 7 PM. Hope a bunch of you can make it for the last night. Got a bunch of guys who did not collect last week.
