Get your sight picture with the gun you are going to shoot, it should have an adjustable comb, and Butt plate for recoil pad, and the correct Length of pull
The gun mount should be comfortable, and the pad should fit your physique and this is where pitch comes in.
Now practice mounting the gun 15 times, and increase the mounting and look into a mirror and see your eye above and centered in the rib.
Increase mounting as your arms will gain strength. I suggest having your gun fitted to you.
I am 225lbs 6'ft tall my lop for the last 40+ years has been 14"inches Zero Pitch, w/adjustable pad.
My gun feels like a part of me and so should yours for the best target breaking
ability.
