If I have a flat rib barrel that shoots 50/50 at 30 yards.....where does the bottom barrel shoot with a #1 hanger?

Kreighoff says each hanger will move the pattern 2-2 1/2" at 30 yards.....but they don't say which hanger will give a 50/50 pattern also.

If they can't give you a difinitive answer, they should be able to give you a ball park idea, then try one and then put it on paper.

All shooters may not get the same results, you may need to shoot your gun and try different hangers. Also all shooters do not look down the rib the same, some look flat down the rib and others fig 8 the beads that will give different POI. thanks Ronnie

There is no answer other than pattern it- to get your baseline

That is why they talk about movement of pattern

I don't own one....but I want an idea of how much higher the bottom barrel can be made to shoot than the top barrel.....all things equal. I may own one.

Sounds to me like a #1 hanger would make the bottom barrel shoot approximately 8" higher then the top barrel....

No a hanger only moves the POI a certain number of inches

You have to pattern it to know where your baseline is

There is no other way

"it sounds like" means nothing but rumor-
