yesCan you identify the gauge? Are you talking the WAA12R wad?
They were the green and blue Remington all american hulls.I think those wads were used in the old RXP hulls for target loads.

That load took 4756 powder which you can't get any more. Great protection game load. Shot many of them in 70's.I don't know of any target loads for AA12R wads.
I used to load 1 3/8 ounce #5 lead for ducks with them.
I know some Cowboy Action shooters load black powder with these wads.
Trade them for wads that you can use.
Only 2 hulls i knew they fitted were the Remington All American hull and the original Winchester paper super target from the early 70'sI'm thinking those old red wads were for use in hulls with high base-wads.
Also Mark V and Ranger paper hulls.Only 2 hulls i knew they fitted were the Remington All American hull and the original Winchester paper super target from the early 70's
I used 1.375 with 4756 in a AAcf hull. Killer back up load for games.I threw away a bag of those I found in the back of a cabinet. So old they had gotten brittle. Many moons ago they would make a great 1.25oz load over PB in a AACF hull for games.
