I Agree on the
Don’t know much about the Browning semi autos but the Benelli’s are great hunting guns but they’re inertia guns so you get the full recoil and.. the Benelli’s are on the light side which adds to the pain. The gas guns are much better on recoil. My favorite auto is the Beretta A400. The kickoff adds more to recoil reduction. Runs as well as the Benelli and as good of quality. Great resale.
I agree on the Beretta a 400 I worked selling guns for Bullseye USA shot the Beretta fastest shooting semi automatic and the less recoil highly recommend it actually there’s someone on the forum selling a Beretta a 400 if I had the extra money I’d buy it

Pacars are crap right now.
DEF systems are total crap.
I know, my son is a driver and he bad mouths pacar all the time. MY best friend growing up dad was a upper manager in the 70s and 80s. I used to get a new Pete or KW shirt every month from age 5 to 15.

This isn’t helping!!! Haha. Adding a gun when I finally had it narrowed down to 2 is killing me. I don’t like the looks or feel of the berettas. I really never had and I can’t explain it. I don’t really like the blue or bronze receivers either. I’d prefer something with great wood and a silver receiver. This isn’t going in a duck blind, probably not even bad weather. Benelli makes a few beauties but the recoil is still very high. I just don’t know much about Brownings semis for dependability. Anyone shoot a Maxus a lot? Are they reliable or troublesome?

I always liked this one and it doesn’t have a receiver with a goofy color. Plus Rich will do a nice trigger job on it.

I shoot a Maxus pheasant hunting, only shot a few trap rounds with it. It shoots way softer than my Benelli M2’s. It is dirtier for sure, but I’ve never had any issues with it. I usually clean every forearm after every use though.

I shoot a Maxus and prior to that a Browning Gold "Fusion". The Fusion is a Maxus before the marketing department dreamed up "Maxus". Aluminum frame with insert, its a 6.25 LB auto just like a Maxus.
I have been shoot the Fusion for 20 years now. I've had the Maxus about seven years. Maxus is my waterfowl and sporting gun on days when I choose to use an auto or when it could rain. It has never failed with any size loads. Both guns have been 100% trouble free and ALWAYS fire.
If you are going to shoot 10k rounds thru the gun, I can't say the Maxus is the best choice. I hope my guns go 10K rounds or better. I know the Beretta is built to go longer.
Look for a Winchester SX4 Competition gun. Same guts as a Maxus, less price and maybe better looks.
The SX4 will have a slimmer grip and fore end. It feels a little more lively than a Maxus. (My son has a SX4)
