I have a 1981 Browning Citori trap 30" o/u brl. Love the gun, but want to experiment with a change in the forearm shape. I am not particularly fond of the wide grooves in the forearm. I find the forearm design on the Special Sporting Clays model much more comfortable (it is a rounded shape).

So, Is there any way I can send my forearm to someone .... who can turn it into the shape of the field model forearms ? Inexpensive suggestions would be more appreciated.

Not having both in front of me, but I think you will not get near the shape you're looking for.

Either the forend lugs on both barrels will be of a different length or, the forend latches will be different.

It might be possible that a reshaped for end will end up
being deeper (top to bottom).
