We recently came across the trigger pictured below. It is a really nice crisp release trigger. What we can’t figure out is who made it. If someone out there has a clue I would appreciate a message or a phone call to my shop. 828–6 93–3833

I never saw one of Jerry White's release setups in a Perazzi but he was fastidious about function and metal finish.

I don't have the answer to your question, but I can see it was very well engineered to minimize the possibility of hammer crack from some other cuts.

Is this release from Thurman Goble?

I had Jerrie White from Colorado convert my MX3 trigger to Double Release. It does not look like the trigger on this thread at all. Jerrie had his name stamped on the release hooks of my trigger.

It's not a Jerrie White conversion - his hooks are flat and he didn't machine the hammers like that. His look more like an Allem.

Jack: Are you thinking of E. G. Hoblit from Ohio. He was a master building release triggers for Super-X Model 1 Winchester. Don't know if he ever converted Perazzi triggers.

Well i don't know who made it but i do know where there another one just like it . I'll ask him who made it for him when i see him should be in a week .will keep you posted .

Not sure but if the guy was from Ohio it might be dale Reitz. He passed a bunch of years ago but I think kerry allor might be able to identify it

No. Not a Reitz. Allor still makes Reitz style. It is a Goble
