The bluing has been wearing off the last 4-5 years and I need to get it redone. Sending it to Kolar is kind of pricey. Does anyone know of other companies that could re blue? I am in Kentucky and if not too far away I would deliver it. Thanks everybody.

Simmons in Kansas City. I've used them quite a few times. Their work is top notch as well as their service. Remember you get what you pay for. I would go to Kolar first. But, as you say that would stretch your budget, then I would use Simmons. I don't know what they would charge, but their work is excellent.

My guess is that Kolar farms 'em out anyway. Are you going with the black that's on most guns or high gloss blue. Mine is the flat black but like the blue I've seen on some of em.

Kolar might be pricy, but you'll be happy with the finished product.

Kolar hand dips the barrels and ribs in their shop.

The bead blasted satin blue just does not hold up well with lots of handling. The Rem 90t is the same way. I no longer offer or recommend rebluinging the 90t.

Your best bet for a satin black is cerekoting.

Another vote for satin nickel done at Kolar.

Like the gun wasn't pricey to begin with? Send it to Kolar and be done with it.
