I just picked up a P gun, MX-5. Don't have much info on this gun, other than 1998 model, bottom barrel screw choked, top barrel XF.

What interchanges on this gun? Stock was set up for owner, 13 1/2" LOP.

Stocks, barrels interchange with?

MX-5 has round monobloc (like Beretta), barrel interchange with MX-6, MX-7.

MX-5 has non-detachable trigger group, stock interchange with MX-7, MX-12, MX-16, MX-2000S, Granditalia, MS80, and most MT6 with the exception of slight differences of bottom contour with MX-12 & MX-2000S stock.

I bought a non- detach trigger stock and it doesn't fit my mx7. I have a mx 5 stock on it right now. I'm puzzled. Must be a square monobloc? Non detach ?

Square monobloc is reference to barrel only.

What non-detachable trigger stock you got that doesn't fit MX-5? Could it be a very early MT6?

I have mx7 with the mx 5 stock I got from you. No problems other than a bit small for me.

Ah, the early Granditalia.

Early MT6 and early Granditalia have the older style inlet like the old MX-8. It needs a simple file job to relieve 1/8" wood from the top right corner to make it go on newer guns.
