I want to try a Muller Choke in my CG Summit Trap. Anyone know the difference between the Selectra choke and the Maxis choke. There is no explanation in the Muller web site. I notice there is a difference in the length.

I believe (and it is only a guess) that the Selectra chokes are flush and designed for their field guns. Your Summit has Maxis chokes. For what it's worth I have Muller chokes in both my Guerini's and like them.

There are many differences and are not interchangeable. Your summit trap uses the Maxis chokes which have a .735 bore,besides being larger in bore they are also longer in both overall length and the portion that gets screwed into the barrel.

The selectra chokes are only .725 bore and as already mentioned, for their field guns.

DONOT USE THE MUELLER CHOKES IN A TRAP GUN

There is not a better choke tube for the cg than a factory tube
