Mark, what specifically does "first year shooter" mean? First year participating in the MSHSCTL? First year participating in this tournament? My son is a 6th grader, it is his first year participating in the High School League, but he started trap shooting in general last year and shot in several ATA tournaments.

I know in SCTP "first year" refers to one's first year of participation in SCTP (regardless of how much experience one has in shooting trap), but this isn't SCTP so I don't want to assume things mean the same.
