I just went through the same thing! Except I needed the smaller one. I posted a the same thing. Connecticut shotguns. They have them new for $20 Winchester Grip Cap - Large
Model 12 Grip Cap
I recently picked up a 1952 2 pin Model 12. Ser # 1264xxx, It had a silver or pewter cap over the grip cap that wasn't my name. I have taken off the silver to find a plastic cap marked "Winchester Repeating Arms"
Dimensions are 1 3/4 long by 1 5/16 wide ? +-
Is this the correct cap for this era gun, or was it used to accommodate the personalized cap?
What does anyone have?
