Currently shooting a bt99 as the lefty. right next to the front set screw hole for the comb, there is a very small sliver of wood chipped out..almost like a splinter...very minor..

only thing I noticed functionaly wise is that little sliver chip will Nick my face.

besides sending it to a gunsmith, is there anything an average somecould do do fill in that space and smooth it out with my finger or something. Hopefully not llooking to sand it down..just fill it in the crevice.

thanks

Fill it with cyanoacrylate glue then wet sand it level it with a 1000 grit sanding stone. Finish wet sanding with 2500 grit sand paper and polish with a fine automotive rubbing compound. Wax it, you're done. The cyanoacrylate may take a few coats to build up.
