Last Saturday, May 4th, the Minneapolis Gun Club hosted the Minnesota SCTP Trapshooting Championship. The weather wasn't too bad compared to what MN has been having. It was overcast but dry and light winds from the north. The ground was a little soggy from the 6-8" of snow that fell and melted a few days earlier but the kids are a lot more tolerant of those conditions than us "seasoned" shooters. We had a few participants shoot their first 25 straights and high score was 95. Thanks to everyone who participated, all the coaches and volunteers who have helped with the training of these fine young adults and of course the Potterfield's, who have contributed huge sums of money to make this program so attractive.
