We shoot at West End in Rosemount, more than 15 years now. Membership has been on the decline that entire time. The high school leagues formed a few years back and wow! A huge mass of kids having a great time, boys and girls. They had so much fun they added a fall league for them.

Maybe guns will survive a few more generations if we can show the general populace the antis may just be fanatics.

Great Job to the MN volunteers that make it happen. The press for this growth is very good. That many kids having fun must have gotten a few parents to dive in.

Our High School trap league organized just two years ago and has taken off strong. It is a joy to see the kids (and their parents) get involved in the shooting sports. Ours is a Spring league, but kudos goes out to the High School leagues who run both Spring and Fall! The more we get these young folks involved the better off we all will be. Invite a young person to your club the next time you go out to shoot to show them what it's all about! :)

All the sanctioned high school teams have web pages on the HS home sites. Coaches will have email addresses there.
