For those of you that shot Flyers with us at the DGC and many other places, a great guy and very good pigeon shooter passed Wednesday night. Mike had been battling Throat cancer for a couple of years and the complications finally overcame him.

Memorial Services at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 740 Edmunds, Lewisville TX at 1 pm Sunday.

I don't know this man but as a cancer survivor of 8 years I always feel a connection. My condolences to all who knew him and loved him.

Yeah Joe -as long as they aren't white Zurito females with a 20kt quartering backwind/crosswind. If so, Mike might be sniffing sulphur in the air.

From a personal standpoint 2013 has been a very bad year.

Billy Hodge, Richard Smith and Mike have flown west - and another pair of my very best friends, Billy Sparks - Weasel/Thud pilot extraordinaire and Ed Rasimus another thud pilot and F-4 driver have all departed this plane of existence.

Not to mention a dearly belover Irish Wolfhound, Keeper, went to the Rainbow Bridge.

Bad Effing year.
