[Miida Joe]

In the mid 1970s I bought a Miida 12ga.OU. It was the best and most beautiful firearm I have ever owned. Got down on my luck in 1984 and pawned it. Wasn't able to retrieve it. Would like to find another.

Is that the one that basically was a Winchester 101 clone? A fellow at the club had one of those. His was a 12 gauge skeet version, looked just like my old 101 skeet. Not sure if he still has it. His eyes got real bad from Macular Degeneration so he quit shooting clays. I bought his Browning GTI about 4 months ago.

I think it was made by a Japanese company Nikko, based on Browning principle. Very similar to Winchester 101.

I had a Miida "Grandee" which was the highest grade. Barrels were 29" and it false side plates with pins. Nice quality and a fairly rare gun. I think I sold it on this site but can't remember for sure.

The Milda was a quality gun. Hard to find now and parts availibiltiy is even harder.
