YIKES here in Northwest IL as I write we are getting 16 - 20 inches of snow and high winds exceeding 50 MPH. Blizzard warnings out until tomorrow afternoon. Doesn't look like we are going to be shooting anytime soon ole drawbar. Gonna be a month before we will even be able to get back to the club. Anybody else gettin this storm as bad or worse? Got cabin fever and even worse - shootin fever!

Weather is no better here in mid-Missouri. I-70 is closed, around 20" snow on ground and still snowing, thank goodness for ts.com!

Snowed in for 2nd day in a row here in N.C. Indiana. Good time to reload shells as it will not last forever. Wayne Downham / Camden, IN

The weather here has turned into winter again also, I guess I will have to get out the long pants again for a few days ... It's only supposed to be in the 50's today and tomorrow, they didn't say anything about precipitation ... This is the second time this year that I have had to get out the long pants, this weather is rediculous ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Snow, then ice, then sleet, then rain, then snow and more blowing snow. Level 3 road conditions (if you're not EMS, you can be arrested for being on the roads, although I've never heard of it happenning.) Late this morning the SO dropped it to a Level 2 so I went to the club to check things out. Door to the garage was blocked by about 4-5 inches of ice so I couldn't get to the plow truck to knock down what I could, so I went back home. We'll be ready to shoot sporting clays the 12th and 13th. I've been shooting trap for close to 40 years, but with the way things are going sporting clays are keeping my (our) club in existence. We will be down to 7 registered shoots this season.

We had a Blizzard here in Milwaukee last night. Winds around 50 mph. I don't know how much snow we got but this morning My wife and I could not get out of our house due to snow was packed up to the glass windows on both doors. I called a neighbor to get us out. I have been snow blowing since 7am and I am half done. I am to old for this crap. My wife said I have to be the slowest person on earth. She said I make one cut through the drive with the blower and sit down for 10 minutes and eat and drink. Told her snow blowing eats up calories. She said let one of your cronies call to go shooting, and you would have snow blowed this drive in 10 minutes. I told her a man has to have priorities in Life. She asked me what my priorities are? I said God, my family, and trap shooting. She said my priorities are shooting, shooting, and shooting. That hurts.

Went to Pheasant Fest in Omaha, Nebraska this last weekend. Barely got out ahead of the storm Monday morning (otherwise I would have been snowed/iced in a motel in Cameron, MO). Real interesting icy ride down I-70. Glad to be back in southeast Tennessee.
