A male shoots his state shoot as a
Veteran. At the end of the year he finds out that his averages were good enough to make the mens team. Which team should he be on?

As far as I know, he declared Vet....so he is Vet until he declares Senior Vet...

When you go to a specific Shoot you can either declare Vet or not declare Vet for that one tournament. What happens for the State Team would depend on the rules for that particular state or province.

In Alberta we have 'State Teams' for the top 10 shooters based on their averages in 3 disciplines with target minimums. We also award a Pin to the top Lady, Junior, SubJr, Veteran, and Senior Vet and this shooter may also be placed on the State Team if his/her averages earn that placement.

Steve, I don't think it matters what we think, because its not just vets...if you look at past state teams I believe you will find some Jrs who would have qualified for the mens team but were placed on the jr team even though they met the target requirements for the mens team.
