Saturday March 1st 2014 we will be hosting a benefit for Jamie Givens who is in dire need of money for cancer treatment. She has insurance but the deductible is very high and treatment wont start until she meets that dedeuctible. The shoot starts at 11:00 am. There will be food available. We are selling raffle tickets from now until the day of the shoot for $1.00 each. Items to be given away are a Winchesater model 74 in mint shape, a new Henry Goldenboy 22 rifle, a new Savage 17HMR heavy barrel with scope, lots of cash prizes and many more donated prizes as they are still coming in. Anybody who wishes to donate a raffle prize or cash can contact me via pm. I also have raffle tickets to sell. Jamie Givens is the daughter of Guy Givens known by many shooters in Idaho. The Givens family has helped many folks in need and now it is our turn to give back. All proceeds from raffle tickets, food and the shoot will go towards her share of the medical bills. Shoots will cost $5, with a $5 payout. This is not a shoot where you win a lot of $$ but rather shoot to help someone. We all know somebody who has fought this disease.

The benefit shoot was a major success raising $8641.00 It rained all day but shooters and donors came out of the woodwork. The Henry rifle and several other things went to a local man named Tom Knutson ( he donated $1500 to the raffle so good for him. One of our own on TS.com Rick Nelson from Minnesota)won a family pass at the world famous Givens Hot Springs. The model 74 Winchester went to Ann Issennbenner from Melba. The Savage 17 HMR went to Tom Knutson again and he donated it back. It was a wonderful day and it just goes to show how good people are. Thanks to all of you on here also that bought tickets. You were as big a part of the success as anybody
