Just curious what are the symptoms you. Experience or hoe many rounds you reload before you send your reloader to MEC to refurbish your machine?

Thanks,

My MEC 650, used when I bought it, has at lease 100k through it with no real signs of wear. I grease the linkage and use 90 weight gear box lube on the loader. There is no noticeable wear after 33 years of my use. I'm sure it will outlast me. BT100dc
i just tore my 20 plus year old 650 down for a good cleaning and installed a shovel handle.
i cleaned all that nasty powder residue, and snugged every thing down.took maybe one hour tops, this is something i do every other year. joseph
I don't know what model MEC you have, but call them up. They are the best, and very patient. They will walk you through everything. I have never had to send a MEC press back. JMO

I managed to break a couple collet fingers this week on the ole Sizemaster. Called Mec in the Am and had the parts in two days. Cleaned and lube the unit and now I am ready for another couple thousand rounds. Clean and lube, clean and lube.
