I'm curious if anyone has been able to rig up either a PW or Spolar hull feeder onto a Mec progressive or if theyve made one themselves? I've already made a collator, I'm currently trying to figure out the delivery system. It's going onto my Mec 9000h.

I have thought about this too, but you will have to find away to "push" the hull into the turret. So, not only would it drop onto the plate, you would have to have an arm to push it towards the resizer. Of course this is on a 9000 series reloader.

Well, it only took them from back when Christ was a mess cook to figure out the primer feed, so I figure it shouldn't be but another 40 or so years before you guys have a hull feeder on your MECs. Hang in there !!

blizzard, I spoke with MEC when I was there in 03 if they were interested in a hull feed system for the 9000H system and they emphatically said no!

So maybe it will be a much longer wait for MEC to produce one??

Hap, I'm not sure if I'm understanding your comment correctly. Do you have or have you designed a hull feeding system for the Mec 9000 or were you just asking the people at Mec if they had plans for one?

Thank you

I ask them and they said they weren't interested, yes, I have most parts needed but haven't put it completely together yet. I would still need to buy one of the PW hull feeders and adapt that to my parts. Those things are very expensive and all expenses come out of my shooting money, hence the hesitation to again solve a problem MEC isn't interested in, again.
