Do you have to re size every time? The 650 does not have a built in collet to resize the base. I have a separate MEC super sizer collet for that.
I like my 650's - they are workhorses.
Not if you're going to shoot the shells again in the same gun.Do you have to re size every time?
gotcha thank you!Not if you're going to shoot the shells again in the same gun.
The grabber is a nice machine, very close to the 650 with a resizer the 650 didn't really have.Love my 650. Just get your primer feed tray adjusted, in or out, up or down, correctly so the primer doesn't flip upside down or not drop in the hole. Get that set up and you can pump out shell's pretty quickly. To bad MEC quit producing the 650.
I definitely see getting the primer tray adjusted correctly will be something I need to fiddle with. Thanks for the heads upLove my 650. I was noticing some stickiness to the tray and moving parts I’ll definitely hit it with some windex, and polish it, thank you!!Primer feed assembly can be adjusted up and down and rotated. Keep fiddling until you get it right, then tighten the clamp. It may require adjusting the length of the ball chain. Prior to adjusting it, clean the tray with Windex or something similar and then wax and polish it.
will do thank youUse a huge channellock to bend the bracket and align the drop tube. Loosen clamp for height. The primer should plunk right in the hole when it's right.

smarter not harder good idea!I put a piece of Bic pen in the hole where the primers should go and adjust everything until the drop tube goes right over the piece. This gives me a target to hit w the drop tube. No bending needed.
Got tired of struggling w this so I tried something different and it worked. Now I send a piece of Bic pen out w every reloader for youth that goes out.smarter not harder good idea!
