A little play is normal in fit around lower barrel. Having said that, there are two sizes of hanger, one for choked barrels which is larger in diameter and one for fixed choked barrels. If there is a lot of play and you have a fixed choked barrel, you could have the wrong size hanger. HMB

Sean: HMB is correct. Also, keep in mind HMB is talking factory choke tubed barrels...there is always some confusion when a factory fixed choked barrel has aftermarket chokes installed. When changing a hanger on a set of barrels with aftermarket choke tubes you will need to use the hanger for a fixed choke barrel. "Factory" choked barrels will need the larger diameter hanger. Ideally, the K hanger will have some clearance. After you shoot a fast round of Doubles in the middle of summer, put on a pair of gloves and shake the HOT barrels. They will likely have no clearance, will not shake, and will NOT change point of impact. :^)
