I'm in Western Canada and and would like to get a stock refinished this winter it will require recheckering and refinishing . Due to not knowing the laws for shipping a stock across the border and the exchange rate I would like to stay in Canada. If anyone could recommend a shop that does this work I would appreciate it
thanks in advance

Shipping a stock across the boarder isn't any problem, I've done it. Contact Dennis DeVault, and I know
he'll do a great job.

I've had 2 custom stocks done by Dennis Devault and a new stock refinished by ?Dennis and the work is fantastic . You are looking at $500 U.S. to have both you stock and for end done in their gloss finish ,which is what I've had done ,but he also does a very nice satin finish. You won't be disappointed !

yes the exchange is a killer when I saw Sprkee's reply on what Dennis charges which is a fair price. I did the conversion at a $1.33 it would add a $165.00 and that is why i'm trying to stay in Canada .
