I am looking for some 12C1 wads to purchase. I live in central Indiana so I would like to find some that is not to far away. I will consider paying shipping on a good quantity. Thanks to all who reply!

That's ok Jerry. I have a friend of mine that is about to take possetion of 100,000 once fired Federal papers. I thought that if I could find some 12C1's I would get a few from him.

Having run out of 12C1 wads, I have shot about 3000 Claybuster CB3118-12AR (their 12C1 replacement) in the Federal Paper hull with no complaints. Loaded with 18.5 grains of 700 X and a F209 primer, it makes a wonderful handicap and long range load. The only difference is that I need to load 18.5 grains of 700 X with the CB Red wad as compared to 18.0 grains of 700 X with the 12C1 was. The Federal 12S3 wad also loads and works well.

The Federal 12S-4 is an excellent replacement if you don't have 12C-1's. It's an 1¼ oz wad but works perfectly for the 1.125 oz loads in Fed papers.

Jerry,

The guy never produced the 10,000+ papers that he promised.
