This was sent to me as an email "joke". The more I thought about it, the more it made a lot better sense than what's been done.

Dear Mr. President,

Patriotic retirement:

There are about 40 million people **over 50** in the work force - Pay them $1 million apiece severance (total cost a mere $40 million) with the following stipulations:

1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings - *Unemployment fixed..* 2) They buy NEW American cars. *Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.
*3) They either buy a house/pay off their mortgage - *Housing Crisis fixed.

It can't get any easier than that!


PS If more money is needed, have all members in Congress and their constituents pay their taxes

I think the cost would be more like $400,000,000,000 as opposed to $40,000,000

I was hoping it was a bailout trapshooting plan that would have the rich people bail us out on our shooting expenses so that we could afford, food, housing, a new car and such instead of having to take that money away from trapshooting.

Kind of like the old chicken in every pot thing but this time a Mossberg in your hand type of program with free shells included.
