I am looking for load data for titewad powder with Rio primers and windjammer II wads, 1 oz. shot. It would need to be roughly equivalent to Red Dot with a 456 Hornady bushing. Have not been able to find anything with Titewad and Rio/Federal 209 primers. Anybody out there? Quicky

Call Hodgdon. If such a load exists, they will tell you.

This is not enough information. The amount of powder dropped by your bushing is an important factor, not to be overlooked. No manufacturer has loads listed with bushing information. They specify powder charges in grain weight.

(I'm trying to tell you you need a scale)

I checked the hodgdon data website:

AA hull
1 oz shot
Windjammer wad (not sure if this is the same as WJ II)
Fed 209 primer
powder range 17.1-19.3 grains

Judging from the powder bushing chart on the hodgdon site, you will need either a 414,420,426, or 432 bushing. The 456 will drop too much.

Please double check my info on the site just to be sure I relayed it correctly.

Be sure to weight your powder drops. I always weight the powder charge just to make sure it's not overloading the shell.

I am shooting 17.5 grains TW and 1 ounce of shot in a Federal Top Gun Hull with a 12 SO wad. around 1200 fps. Cheddite primer.

Or STS Hull with a CB-1100-12 wad.
