Len Burford past president of ATA from OK passed yesterday.

Services are not definite at this time.

Great representive for trapshooting and even better squad mate and friend.

Very sad news.

Len was a real great guy. I met him in 1979 at Louisiana state shoot in Buras La. I was struggling with flinching and it was getting worse every day. I was always afraid of release triggers. Len talked to me at great length about release triggers and let me shoot his gun and coached me on the practice trap. We shot singles and we also shot doubles with double release. I changed to release triggers the next week. I think of Len virtually every time I shoot.
