Lead Bb's are .180 an d a pellet or BB is supposed to be .177. The r1 has a lot of power. I wonder if part of the energy was sued to crunch or form the BB to bore size?
Be interesting to see what kind of accuracy you could get. I have an r1 in .20 caliber but that would be too big. Jeff
A guy looking for lead BB's usually already has a super cub. Jeff if I am on the right track, I have some super X copper plated shells that my old partner had here still if your interested. I think they are 2 3/4" 1 1/2 of copper BB. L.G.
