KX-5 service in NW Ohio- send it to PA?

My Dad has about 20K rounds through his Krieghoff KX-5. I believe the owner's manual calls for a check up at this point. Does anybody have an opinion on where to go for quality service in the NW Ohio area? He doesn't want to pack it up and give it to UPS to take to Krieghoff in PA. The situation is worse now as the KX-5's are not being made any longer and a replacement might be impossible to get in 32" if it were lost or damaged in shipping. Let me hear your opinions!
