what would be a fair value of a KS5 special, 98% condition, with case,& choke tube and release trigger? Any help would be appreciated.

2500-3000 Depends on the condition and how bad you want it, or how good you shoot it. LOL

I would say more like $3250-3650. I sold my regular KS5 blued receiver in good condition for $2500 and it sold very quickly. They're amazing guns for the money.

The KX 5 guns are bringing $2800.00 to $3500.00 so I think Rick in MT.has the price for a KS=5.$2500 to $3K

John G., I think $2500 is way low. If you do a quick Google search just between gunsamerica and gunbroker average selling price is $3350 up to $3700. If the gun is 98%, cased, factory chokes, factory release, factory adjustable rib and so on I would say $3400-3500 would be a fair price. Hard to find a 98% gun!!!

I've been looking for a nice KS-5 or Special for my dad for a couple weeks, and from the options I've had thus far, I think Rick is spot on for pricing. There are nice Specials to be found for well under the 3K mark, and some not so nice ones too!

For what it's worth I bought mine four years ago with case tubes had 400 shells through it for $2800.00 and like it however my CG summit has much less recoil.
