If you had your choice would you prefer a KS-5 or a KX-5 if each was in like condition. Also I have heard numerous complaints about triggers being unreliable. Is there any truth to this? Thanks for any help.
Above are true, however, the KX gun has the adj. comb, rib, and trigger and choke tubes while the standard KS gun does not. If you include the KS-5 Special, it's a KX-5 without the higher price, name, some cosmetic differences, and the central, under latch on the forearm rather than the front button. To me, the KS-5 Special is still the most bang for the buck. Of course, should one not want tubes and all the adjustability, the standard KS-5 is the one to buy to which an after market adj. comb can be added for a total less than the others.....Bob Dodd
