Are Kolar stocks marked some where? to find out if It's a #1 ,2,3,4,.

I had one that had the number marked on the inside of the ear. Had to the remove stock to see it.

GENERALLY its marked in pencil as Dave above indicates but not always.

When I bought my Kolar at the 2011 World Shoot, I didn't even know they made different number stocks. All the big dealers had been sold out of them for months, and I was happy just to get my hands on one!

Mine is a #2, and I later learned, I would have been better off with a #4, which seems to be true of most of my friends.

Yup. me too. And just about everyone else I know with a #2.......

I got blind lucky on mine, I guess. I bought it used and thought I wanted a #2. I got a #4 and have been delighted with it.
