Could it have been Kingen Gun Club, where flying Trapshooters would land their air planes in front of the traps and then taxi to the left end of the trap field and park their planes and unload their guns and shells. One flew a Mooney anyone know who the trapshooter was?
I was shooting there when Roy Foxworthy(GAH winner) landed his plane there. Shot my first fliers and first 100 straight there. Dennis signed my ATA Life Membership application. I am so glad to see that the club apparently will reopen!
This is great news! The last I had heard and understood, there was a big auction and the trapfield and land would likely be sold at auction for farmland. Glad things are looking up.
