I have a # 6 on mine and thought it was normal. Bulge.

 

#4 is typically a sporting hanger.

 

Hello; Does anybody know the thickness of the several different hangers and the corresponding number system for each thickness? I did noticed on Kreighoff's web page that each change in number will make about 2- 2 1/2" movement in POI. But I could not find anything that listed each one. Thanks for reply's.

 

It will depend on each individual set of barrels. Larry

 

Low numbers shoot high and high numbers shoot low. The numbers used to run from 1 to 7. HMB

 

The size starts at 0.5mm and goes up in 0.5mm increments. Each change in hanger size moves the point of impact about 90mm at 35 metres, this will vary from barrel length to barrel length.
