I plan to send my K32 directly to KI. With no headspace gap, I am pretty sure it will need some rebuild work. I know the actual cost is dependent upon exactly what needs done, but just wondered what others have paid for a rebuild (either partial or complete)... Just trying to get an idea.

I had a 32 serviced at Ottsville in the spring of 2011,and both cocking levers replaced. Servicing was $225, which included springs, lube and test firing. Cocking levers were $45 each, pins were $6 and $30 return shipping for a total of $431.

I declined hinge pin replacement or barrel rebuilt mainly because I did not ship both barrels with gun. Gun was frequently failing to fire bottom barrel. Gun has been 100% reliable since.

With no headspace issues and no refinishing of any kind, I'd say johnboy's estimate is typical.

Thats an early serial number

I would send the barrel(s) in also just to be certain
