Have a customer coming Thursday to pick up his gun and he wanted to see the gun in advance. The stock is left handed with the finger grips. The gun is a K-80 Trap Special and the wood was a piece of black walnut from his own farm. I think that it makes the piece very special to him. Thank you for taking a look and thanks to my crew for another excellent work of art.

Dennis,

Nice work. The "eyeball" looking out both sides is an awesome touch.

I know you won't say it, so I will. Most makers would have run screaming from a blank that had either a center core or a branch through the heart of it. Dennis and his crew seem to welcome this kind of challenge and always overcome it.

I know the special pride of stocking a gun with a home grown stock and forend blank. Gives a whole new meaning to pride of ownership. I've got a chunk of solid beeswing tapestry Myrtlewood that I've been hiding from my clients for years that will be a signature display set for my DeVault Combination gun. Can't wait, but I'll have to.

Congratulations to the new owner.
