Just a thought. You are paying lot to have a stock maxed , finished and checkered. That is a pretty plain black with only small contrast on one side. Are you certain that is what you want? For 1000 you could buy close to exhibition.

The gun is blued so I wanted to go with a light wood. I don’t like maple so Myrtle was the only other lighter wood I could find. For some reason the dark exhibition grade stocks don’t do much for me.
