Hello; I was wanting to know if someone could tell me how to remove the top latch. I have not tried this before and do not want to start down the wrong path.

If you want to remove the top latch essentually everything else has to come out of the reciever. Trigger assembly, hammers and struts, probably the firing pin block ect. ect. If your not prepared to do that I'd let a qualified gunsmith do it. Hope this helps. Gabe

Kay Ohye has a video on his website that tells how to disassemble and reassemble K32's and K 80's. You have to order it and have it shipped. I used to have one, but the gunsmith I loaned it to lost it.

Why not remove the stock and take a good look at the mechanism?

I've had my 32 Rem. apart many times and it isn't Rocket Science.

If it is like the Rem.32 you need to control one spring by putting a pin in the hole of the top lever shaft and removing one screw.
