Yes. He can join at any ata sanctioned shoot.

He can shoot penalty yardage, and class, or shoot for birds only , no trophies awarded

Yup, just like they said. We have a few paper forms from the ATA in the clubhouse for just such an occurrence. It takes probably all of two minutes, and we snagged another one.

Contact your local delegate and they may have some free memberships available. The ATA year runs Sept. 1 to Aug 31.

I would join online, I payed at a state shoot and the money never got to the ATA. I had to repay at my next competition. It is real easy to do online and get a average card right away. Good luck
