I just purchased a set of Beretta Optima hp 3/4 extended because I was taking up sporting clays and the flush mounted were difficult to change quickly and also needed a wrench which I often forgot to bring![smile].Can we assume that they are flush mount and you will be using the gun to shoot trap, then no. If you are also shooting sporting clays then yes. When shooting sporting clays it is much easier to change chokes and also to see what choke you have in the barrel.
If the chokes are extended and you are shooting trap and sporting clays, then no.
I do not like notches and/or ports on my chokes. So if you are like me then yes. I like Wrights and Angle Port without the ports.
