A friend just showed up with this box. I have no information about what it is, when it was made or value. Help is appreciated.

It says on the box Harrington and Richardson model 732. GUardsman. I did a bit of research and it is also called a sidekick. Other then that I cannot find anything. The serial number starts with a Z. It is .32 caliber. 4 inch barrel, white grips, Never fired in the original box. Help me get this guy on the straight and narrow with info.

It belonged to his dad

You can look up by model on the blue book of guns for free and get info on things. Some niche stuff they will also give you pricing without having to pay.

I swear to god I just read something in American Riflemen on the 732 H&R that they were much older late teens to the 30's discontinued during WWII and then had a couple of new model runs in the 50's and again in the 80's. Going to dig throw the garbage can again.
