Can anyone give me any info on this gun? I bought it from an estate auction. 15" barrel in .223. Supposedly this is the way it came from Remingtons "Custom Shop". I would be interested in a catalog from Remington or any other printed matter relating to this gun. Would like to know original selling price, if someone knows that info. What accessories were available and anything related to this type of gun from the custom shop. Thanks, Bulge.

Well they have one for sale on Guns International that says it was built in 1976 with the same stock chambered in 17/222. They are asking $1295 with a Leupold scope if that helps any.---Matt

Brian, if you knew what I paid you would call me double lucky dog. Now i got to get lucky again and find a nice Burris vari-power scope for it. Mike.

Mike---your about a month too late. I sold a real nice Burris Long Eye Relief on here for a great price. It was a fixed 5X but was just what the doc ordered for that gun.---Matt

Mike, call the Remington Custom Shop and give keith Dye the serial number. He'll be able to confirm any Custom Shop origins of your XP-100.

I have an XP-100R in .223. Fun gun to shoot and off a padded rest, it has taken woodchucks at some eye-opening yaradges.

Called the custom shop so far: it was manufactured in 1988, and the rate of twist is 1 in 12". They are sending an owners manual. Nice people. Any Remington catalogs from 88 out there? Mike.
