Info on Glock 22 PD Model wanted

What would be a good price for a Glock 22PD model in maybe 85-90% condition with 3 15rd Mags? I'm on one but not sure whats a deal or not. I saw a couple on GA but they were $585 range in much better condition than i'm talking. I just want a shooter. It was a PD carried gun. I was thinking that would make it mostly carry miles. Of course qualifing but how much does a PD gun really get shot? Do all officers shoot alot?

Can someone set me straight on this? No insult to officers intended here but i'm just not sure if a used PD gun is a smart endeavor.

It's not a trade-in from a local PD. I don't have alot of info other than my eyes and a field strip on condition and rounds fired.

jaeger--I can get this one for less than that. Do you have a pic for condition comparison? Yours may be alot nicer. I don't have a pic of the one i'm looking at but from your offer i'd like to see the condition for my comparison anyway. Wasn't thinking at the time real serious on the gun until i got home. Curiousity has got to me now. I'll buy the one i'm looking at if i feel the price is fair.

I just don't wanna drop anywhere near $500 right now or i'd buy new. Its just a gun that popped up and i'll buy it from the guy for a fair price. Just wondered what they go for.

GWII--Thats eactly what it is for under $400 w/3 15 rd mags out the door. Has the DTPD serial number $350 to be exact. Good deal or not?--Matt

Fair is fine although the deal you quoted is nice too. Would that be "out the door" though. Seen deals that seem good until you get in to them.

You guys understand what i was asking. I almost just bought it right then and there but just wasn't sure what they sold for new. Learning what all of you have said has asnswered my question.

Basically its a not a bad deal its just not the best. Just fair. I've been part of plenty of them.

I apppreciate the offers from everyone and have saved them. We will see...

Randy--I probably will if its there in a couple days. If its not no big deal. Plenty of very nice deals on this thread alone. I'll see the guy again this weekend. I'm not gonna tell my wife the deal is just fair. To her i'm preaching awesome deal. Catch my drift.....:)
