Does anyone have a tip on improving/restoring the accuracy of indexing the turntable on a MEC progressive? I have an older 762 Grabber which produces great reloads, but it can be cranky and most of the glitchiness is due to the indistinct indexing of the turntable.
I recently replaced the collet and gave it a good cleaning and relube, so it runs well, except for less than positive positioning for the turntable, which sometimes doesn't allow the shell in Station 1 to drop cleanly into the collet to be resized.
Replace the ball and spring? Replace the turntable? All three? I'm sure someone has solved this problem...
Thanks!
